Ana María Ormaza

 

Since 2010, Ana has been working as a colorist, with strong expertise in Baselight, DaVinci, and Nucoda. She attended various courses at the International Colorist Academy in London and at the EICTV in Cuba and she is also an active member of the CSI (Colourist Society International).

She has worked on numerous commercials, feature films, music videos, and documentaries, and she was part of Up.Grade 2018 in Berlin, a one-of-a-kind postgraduate color correction program that trained 40 colorists from around the world. There, she completed training in color science, display technology, color management, workflows, restoration, display calibration, ACES, and HDR. She also collaborated with the Berlin Cinematheque on film restoration projects during her time in Germany. Ana studied Filmmaking at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. For 15 years, she worked as a focus puller, which gave her a special appreciation for grading, especially in film projects.
